How to Increase Your Confidence

Take a wild guess how many times a week I get asked - How do I become confident?


For real, guess...the answer is EVERY. SINGLE. DAY. Yep. Here's the thing, I had to take protected time to think about this myself. Why? Because I'm naturally confident. So it took me a sec to sit and think about the HOW part. My initial response was - Well, it's simple. You just are.


After I took some time to empathize, here are my aha moments:

  • Confidence is simply a decision. Your decision to just be confident.

  • It's like a switch. You get to turn it off and turn it on. Again, it's your choice.

  • Confidence is based on self-validation vs. validation from others.

  • Confidence grows as you step into your authenticity.

  • Confidence is DOING authenticity; meaning taking actions that help you feel confident.

  • Confidence means you identify yourself as a confident person, then act as such.

  • Confidence is dancing and singing in the grocery store regardless of the weird stares.

  • Confidence sells.

  • Confidence looks different from one person to the next, but the energy from a confident person is the same - one that exudes happiness and positive vibes.

  • You can experience doubt and still be confident at the same time.

  • Confidence is knowing you're not selfish for doing something that is in greatest service to your physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual wellbeing.

  • Confidence is the best version of yourself.

  • Confidence is felt more than it is seen.

  • Confidence is ME and it is YOU.

I truly believe confidence starts with your inner being. You gotta decide that confidence lives inside of you. Then you decide to let it flow out of you freely and naturally. Allow the best version of yourself to come out wildly strong. Listen to her and let her free...
