Girl, before I built this empire, I was thriving in HR. I’d just been promoted to lead a brand-new North America team because, let’s be real, I was HER. My SVP even said I could “find glitter in piles of shit.” But while my six-figure salary was cute and my job was easy AF, it wasn’t my zone of genius - it was just my zone of mehhh. And don’t even get me started on my coworkers. 😒 Drabby, bitchy, miserable. Their negativity was suffocating, and I wasn’t about to marinate in that forever.
Then came Valentine’s Day 2021. I was sitting alone in my home office while my husband and kids were making my favorite chocolate-covered strawberries. Sure, they loved me - but did I love me? 🫣 The answer hit hard: hell no. If I really loved myself, I’d go all in on my coaching & consulting business and do what God and the universe created me to do.
Two days later, on a random-ass Tuesday, I walked into my senior director’s office and said, “I’m done. Here’s my two-week notice.” Bye-bye corporate bullshit, hello freedom. It felt like ripping off a bra at the end of the day - instant relief, instant fuck yessss.

No more bitchy coworkers - just ambitious entrepreneurs who get what it’s like to build an empire from your laptop while feeling hella lonely sometimes.
